Clarification on the Salary Payment Date for Employees and Social Security Retirees for the Current Month

Al-Taj News – An informed government source expected public sector employees’ salaries for the current month of October to begin being disbursed within the next two days.

The source said that the financial departments in ministries and official institutions had completed preparing the current month’s payroll statements in preparation for transferring them to banks, noting that salaries would be paid on their usual date each month.

For his part, Shaman, spokesperson for the Social Security Corporation, revealed that retirees’ salaries for the current month would be paid on Thursday, October 22, 2026, because the usual payment date, the 24th of each month, falls on a Saturday, which is an official holiday.
